Hi, my name is Katie, and I love books. I graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2020 with a double major in English and Secondary Education. The _katie.reads Instagram page I started in 2019 started me on my blogging journey, and I primarily share my thoughts in longer-form on this blog now! After two publishing internships, an assistant job for the Poet Laureate of Virginia, and experience teaching high school and middle school English, my love for literature has only grown. I am currently teaching 8th grade English and 9th grade Speech/Mythology in a private school on Guam after four years of teaching in Virginia. In my spare time, you can find me getting involved as a volunteer in my community, video chatting my family, making something new in the kitchen, or visiting another coffee shop.
